It happens to the best of us, clients stop responding after an initial conversation leaving you hanging.

Instead of panicking here’s how to handle the situation properly:

    1. Send a polite follow up after a few days:

“Hi [Name], I hope all is well! Just wanted to check in on the conversation we had for [project name]. Let me know if you’d like to discuss further!”

    2. After a week, send another but final and friendly nudge:

“Hi [Name], just following up on the chat we had. I’d love to help with [project name] if it’s still open!”

Do you know why it works? Because non-pushy follow-ups remind clients of your conversations without coming across as desperate. Often, clients are busy or distracted and this gentle approach gets you back on their radar.

P.S: I have many a times hired freelancers who have been actively following up because they are more visible and even if I don’t hire them, I get remember them for the next project.
