Hot take for all

Most freelancers suck at self-promotion not because they’re bad at marketing… but because they’re scared of being seen.
They hide behind portfolios and websites and overthink every post. But the truth is clients buy people. They buy YOU. Your energy, your vibe, your way of solving problems.
Post messy. Show up when you’re not ‘ready.’ Share your work in progress. You’d be surprised how many people are looking for someone just like you, not the ‘perfect version’ you’re trying to be.

I once posted a draft logo with a typo and still got a client. Showing up matters more than being perfect.

Hit publish anyway. Your first post will be your worst. That’s the rule!

The moment I started posting work in progress, my DMs blew up. People LOVE the behind-the-scenes.

Being visible is terrifying, but so is being broke. Pick your fear 😅

I felt called out and inspired in the same sentence 😂
