Every time i hit ‘send’ on a proposal, i feel like i’m launching a rocket and tbh thats scary and stressful! Does anyone else get massive anxiety submitting proposals or is it just me? Any tips to feel calmer about this?

Here’s the best way to beat anxiety : remember you’re just offering help. You’re not asking favours you’re offering solutions. Changed my mindset completely.

You are definitely not alone man! I used to feel the same. My tip to you would be to write proposals like a semi casual conversation first, then polish afterward. Makes it feel less formal. I saw Sagar’s post of how someone addressed the problem faced by the client and also mentioning the 12 years or so experience in the first line. I think opening statements like this are the key to getting seen among the ocean of proposals.

I think you really have to not over think about it.

There are so many other people sending proposals that you need to really consider quantity over quality of proposals.

Most proposals are AI written so being able to quickly speak to the problems clients will have through conversations will be more impactful than any long winded scripted proposals.

Start conversationally responding to job requests that are human that may even ask a real question. Concentrate on that and your can sale through sending more proposals.
