I’ve had my Wrangler for a few years now and it’s been a beast off-road, but recently the transmission has started acting up in a way that’s got me worried. When I’m driving, especially in stop-and-go traffic, the gear changes feel really harsh and jerky, and sometimes there’s a noticeable delay when I shift from park to drive. I’ve also noticed a slight shudder when accelerating from a standstill, which I know can be a sign of torque converter issues or low transmission fluid. I’m pretty sure it’s not just a simple fluid top-up, as the problem has been getting progressively worse over the past couple of weeks. I need to find a workshop that can properly diagnose the issue without just guessing, especially since I’ve read that transmission problems on Wranglers can sometimes be related to faulty solenoid packs or worn valve bodies . I’m in Abu Dhabi and I’ve been looking for a place that specializes in American 4x4s and can do a fast Jeep transmission repair in Abu Dhabi, because I can’t really afford to have my car sitting in a shop for days. Does anyone know a reliable workshop in Abu Dhabi that has experience with the ZF or automatic transmissions on these Jeeps and can get it sorted quickly? I’d really appreciate a recommendation before I end up with a bigger problem.
