I joined Upwork in 2017 – doing both writing and VA work.  I only ever got small $5-30 projects. I have since re-trained to be a blogging expert/ghostwriter/copywriter – but the only ‘invites’ I get sent on Upwork are for very shady VA opportunities that I never hear back from.
I created a separate and new Content Writer profile which is the one I send to gigs I apply for – but other than one ghostwriting gig – I am not having much success on Upwork.  Looking for suggestions – as I am thinking my whole profile needs an overhaul.  I do have my own website/portfolio and have been getting single blog gigs on a site called NDash, but not enough to sustain a full-time freelance career.  Any tips appreciated 🙂

First of all please delete your upwork profile and just stick to 1 or else anyways you will get banned from the workplace

      Hello,

I don’t understand your reply. Upwork actually asks if you want to create a separate profile for different types of jobs now. You can have your regular profile plus a specialty one – UpWork offers this as an option. I’ve been on there since 2017 with no issues on my account, so I don’t understand your reply.

No problem.  Only one Upwork account – with a specialized profile. It is a new feature they rolled out a while ago.

Thanks for the message! Do you want to post your profile URL and I can take a quick look to see if I can see anything that jumps out?
