Any opinions on what kind of software a political campaign would use?  Is it even worth it to target this market vs just sticking to Upwork?

What are you trying to accomplish for them?  Most software platforms would work fine depending on what you’re trying to accomplish.  I would say the only thing you’re going to need to pay close attention to are your Top of Funnel items like PPC campaigns.  The social platforms are cracking down on this big time.
